again i was looking around imdb and i found this!!! http://imdb.com/title/tt0892769/ does anyone know if it is 2D or CG animation? i'd be so incredibly happy if it was 2D because DreamWorks had put out some awesome ones, Prince of Egypt, Spirit, and El Dorado just to name a few! so seriously if anyone has any info on this let me know!!!!!

and i'm VERY sorry for my lack of posting and commenting, i read my LJ feeds EVERY day, so i do read your entries, like every one of them, i just can't comment i seriously have no time. I was accepted into the Lethbridge College, in their Multimedia program (I was told my entrance composition was one of the best so far woohoo!) I'm going to be working on a degree in Video Production and Animation! so as if my life wasn't busy enough already, i have to worry about getting the money before the summer ends to pay..... oi....

anyways...

I heard about Nim's Island, and I was in Chapters today, looking through the books, and I saw it, so i picked it up and looked at the cover illustration, and i was like wow that looks like Gerard Butler. it said it was going to be a movie and it had pictures inside, so i took a gander and sure enough!!! GERRY!!!! yeah people were like why is she freaking out over a kids book? seriously.... hotness beyond hotness they just don't understand! *shakes head pitifully*

anyways, i usually try to keep tabs on my favourite actors, and i had no idea about this so i'm pumped... srsly Gerry an adventure hero in a kids movie! you can't get much more amazing than that!

I just received the rather sad news that Gordan B. Hinkley, the 15th President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has passed away today. My brother came down and told me and I couldn't even believe him..... I mean, the prophet of the lord has died. I mean I know that the church will go on and that President Hinkley is with the Lord now, but he was one of those prophets that you just figured would last until the end. I will miss him lots, it will be very sad to not see him twice a year for conference. I was really little when Pres. Hunter died, so I don't really remember him that much, plus he was only President for a couple of months before he died. I can't express enough how deeply sad I am...
I know he's with his wife, and with God, and the prophets of old but it's still just so sad to see such a great person go.

Anyways I don't really know what else to say... I'm just really sad and in shock right now. :(

I just figured I'd share two of my favourite pictures of him:

this one is a scan of a clipping from the BYU Alumni magazine that my mum gets, it's hanging on my door. It always made me think of him as being the best grandpa figure ever, his smile reflects such kindness and generosity and happiness.


and then this one. it was during the conference when Pre. Eyring was called as second counselor in the First Presidency, and when he took his seat up at the front, he looked like he had the world on his shoulders, and after Pres. Hinkley introduced him and went to sit down, he took the tense moment and tapped his cane on Pres. Eyring like he was knighting him! what an awesome guy.


I think I will go and watch the Testaments now... and watch Jacob be silly and throw rocks at people XDDD

I need your help!

k, so I went to a trip to Cali last year around Easter time, so I wont be surprised if my search is in vain but I'm trying anyways.

We went to Pismo Beach and hit some of the surf shops there, I had already got a couple souvenirs from Morro Bay so I didn't really bother getting anything there. BUT there was one shirt (or hoodie I can't remember) and it was a dark brown or black, and it had just white silk screening of two pirate skeletons hanging on nooses and the phrase "Hang Loose" and then Pismo Beach written somewhere, and at the time I figured I'd get over it but I've kept thinking about how much I wish I gotten it, and i have NO idea what the shop was called other than it was on the save street on the same block as Panchos, cause that's where my bros got their stuff.

So if anyone has any idea, or knows how to find the surfshops on the block or something I'd really appreciate it! :)

oh yeah and I rear ended someone last tuesday... I might have to sell my car if my insurance goes up to much.... it's a long story, all in all the people I'm dealing with think they can sue me or something.... but ha you can't cause I'm insured you fools!

yeah I've been gone for a while. My health hasn't been the greatest, I've had a really bad cold, that was getting better yesterday, but then I made the mistake of playing epic fugitive in the cold tonight and now it's worse than ever. D:

So I am VERY sorry for not keeping up on things, I will try my hardest tomorrow, to catch up on stuff.

I was looking through all my Houdini stuff, and magician things. and I realized that I never have seen the Illusionist yet, but had really wanted to, cause it's about magicians AND Edward Norton is in it and I LOVE him!

So i went to HMV where I always buy my music and movies, and it was like freakin $31! but i though "hey it'll be good" so i bought it anyways, went to work and was all getting pumped to watch it, got home, and stuck it in.... it started out awesome! and then half way through it starts skipping!!!!!!

what-the-heck! my dad was telling me to calm down and just watch what was there, but I have this pet-peeve, i have to watch the WHOLE movie or I can't enjoy it. but I'm really upset, I wanted to watch it so bad. >:( I'm taking it back tomorrow. if they don't let me exchange for another copy then I'll just go to Future Shop or something.... grrr. well my nights ruined. :|

in my magician crap I found a character I'd made up, based on Houdini, I'll have to upload him sometime.

EDIT uh... I took it out and looked to see if there was any dust (which there wasn't), and then put it back in, and now it works..... DVDs are so touchy |:c...

I was looking around the internets looking for stuff Family wise from my mom's side Russell and I couldn't find our family crest/Coat of Arms ANYWHERE, all they had was The red lion and helmet, which isn't my family's. So my uncle has the original coat of arms, an my mom took a picture of it for me, and I did it up in photoshop :D So here it is.

Oi it's been a while!

I saw the Bee movie with Alyssa!! it was HILARIOUS!! ever (hence my new icon!) haha seriously you all need to see it, I haven't laughed that hard in forever! and When Alyssa and I laugh in a movie, it's not cute giggles or hardy chuckles, it's like huge booming bursts of laughter!

umm Other news, is that I'm super busy these days, and don't have much time online anymore. I want everyone to know that I have read your entries, i just never have time to post comments, same with dA, I have been doodling here and there, but I haven't sat down and done an actual drawing forever, and it's defiantly wearing on me, cause my skillz are failing lol!

I'm loving my life right now other than work. YSA is awesome, and vibes are pretty good at home and if they do get bad, they straighten around pretty quickly.

I've been taking some thinking into my life lately. My views on a lot of things have changed lately... nothing to the negative, most of it is positive. the only thing I wish I could change about my life right now is my job... other then that I feel perfectly content with my life right now, which is awesome, cause I've been so depressed for so long.

So yeah, I'd write a longer more complex journal, but it's late I still have to write in my real journal, and I work at 8:00 am tomorrow, and hafta go Costume hunting after that for things to put together for the Dance on Friday, and FHE next week. hopefully I can find some good stuff, I'll also hafta check my bank account cause I bet I'm broke.... D: which sucks... I really need a new job heheh...

anyhoo, I have a truck load of work doodles I'll be posting soon.... so you can watch for that.
